Luminosus Designs has gone international!
We are very excited to announce the completion of two overseas projects: a high-end resort property in Grand Cayman, The Cayman Islands, and a townhouse in Guangzhou, China. With the addition of these two projects, we are truly an international firm, both in style and in locale.
Cotton Tree is a high-end, water front resort property located in the Cayman Islands. The resort consists of four beach cottages with spectacular ocean views, and a guest studio. Each beach cottage includes two suites, a fully furnished living room with a bar, and a gourmet kitchen. The property, with its “barefoot luxury” concept, boasts amenities such as an outdoor spa area, pool, gym, and yoga. Our firm was retained by the architects of MJM Design Studio to fully furnish the cottages and the guest house with hotel quality items such luxury linen, bedding, mattresses, and towels, indoor and outdoor china and drink-ware, kitchenware, and accessories for both the guest quarters and public spaces. Our firm also designed the guest studio furniture to accommodate flexible use of the space.
Our second international project was to assist a client with the space planning of his 3-story townhouse in a luxury community near Guangzhou, China. The building architecture is in the style of California Spanish Revival. We arranged the floor plans to be congruent with the concept of “open courtyard” living, while still accommodating a busy family with modern life style and amenities.
